I’ve just decided that I should write all of this as though I am writing to someone who doesn’t know me or any of the people I’m talking about. Know your audience, right? (As though anyone I don’t know has stumbled across this site yet.) To that end, if I’m talking about someone for the first time in a month, I’ll give a little more background about them, effective immediately, so some of the writing may sound funny in this entry, but I’m hoping it’ll be a smoother transition in the future. I stayed up kinda late last night making a mixed CD for Barry’s birthday. I liked it enough that I made myself a copy. It had Franz Ferdinand, Flaming Lips, Secret Machines, Ben Fold Five, Old 97’s, Rhett Miller, Pavement, Ween, White Stripe and maybe some others.
I had told Scott yesterday that I’d like to meet with him today, so I got to the PCJ around 10 and we talked for quite a while. I wanted to get an idea of his long term plans for the company and try to align what I’m doing with his philosophy.
