Neverending Story by Limahl

I don’t know particularly why, but today went by really fast.  Not much to report on- I worked, I felt too lazy to go surfing despite a good surf report.  Amanda toasted a leftover waffle for dinner and I finished off the chicken apple sausage then we sat around and watched TV, mainly Saved, because nothing else really was on. I mentioned that Harvey reminds me of a luck dragon, so Amanda started singing the song for Neverending Story, so I looked it up on YouTube and, surprisingly enough, there’s a video for that song by someone called Limahl, which I’ll leave here for your viewing pleasure. And I always thought the person who sang that was a girl.  Apparently …

Barry got me a copy of the Vampire Weekend CD and I was listening to it today.  It’s really good.  The songs that stand out the most to me are Oxford Comma and M79.  M79 I really like because of the use of strings in it. I was pretty busy this afternoon aside from a few e-mails with Amanda.  I called Mary Joe Quinn around noon to offer my condolences about John’s passing.  She told me how hard things had been in the few weeks since he’d been home- how he could hardly move except for his left arm and how it was difficult to move him around.  She gave me the awesome details about what happened right before he …

We’d gotten a text message from Michael this morning letting us know that his car wouldn’t start and that he needed a ride home from work.  Since he got off at 2:00 we didn’t have a real long time out on the beach, …

I’m not sure what the deal was.  I couldn’t think of anything I’d eaten the day before that would have caused me to feel that way plus almost throw up.  I had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, cereal with milk (the bread and milk were both bought this past weekend) and a slice of provolone cheese.  That’s all …
