These are the scanned-in images taken of our eight week, two day old baby from the doctor visit yesterday.  I’m calling it Pistachio until we learn the sex (because Peanut is too common a name).

The black mass is the brain, and you can see the umbilical cord pretty easily.

This one got overexposed when I scanned it, apparently.  Anyway, this is more of a frontal view, and you can see the brain and I think the eyes plus the limbs.

I think the baby looks a little like Godzilla in this one.  You can make out the head and limbs pretty easily.  The bright white spot is the heart, which we could see beating strongly.
