Griffin’s First Tooth

Griffin’s got a tooth coming in, by the way. Tristen thought she saw it over the weekend, but decided it wasn’t an actual tooth, but we could feel it the next day. You still can’t see it very well, but it’s a-comin’. Signed up for Disney+ a couple days ago. Woke up early yesterday morning, got to work, then remembered it was Disney+ launch day, so I installed it on our devices and watched a few minutes of The Mandalorian, but figured I should wait to watch it with Tristen. Has some good looking originals, but it’s mostly just fed the twins’ addiction to Stitch so far. They love Lilo & Stitch, by the way. Tristen put it on for them …

First Fifth Grade WatchDOGS Day

Slept through my usual wake up time and woke up a little before 4, decided to start working. Griffin also decided to wake up at 4 and hamper work until Tristen had me bring him to her. She got him quieted and asleep pretty fast. Twins up just before 7. I had just gone to the bathroom so Tristen woke up and got them. At least I had milk already poured for them. Griffin slept a little later, but I had to get him up as I was taking everyone to Torrie’s. On Thursdays she usually takes the twins and Laura takes Griffin, but since I was volunteering at Milly’s school she let me drop Griffin off until Nonny came …

Six Months of Griffin

Today marks my babiest’s baby being in this world for half a year. It’s been a while since I’ve done any updates on the kids, so I figured this is a good opportunity to do just that. First off, Griffin drools more than any baby I’ve ever known before. It’s a truly ridiculous thing. Now, I’m going to go ahead and let you know I’m actually writing this after Griffin’s six-month birthday so I can tell you that he had a checkup with the doctor (we took all three boys; the older two got flu shots while Griffin got a booster as well as some vaccines). He’s always had this little bump on the inside of his lip, which we …

The End is the Beginning of the End

With school back in session and Labor Day weekend upon us, summer is officially over. Okay, so technically it’s not over until September 23, but you know, summer is over for all intents and purposes. My Fifth Grader My title alludes to Milly. She started fifth grade this past Tuesday. So the end of summer is the beginning of the end of her elementary school career. I was rather disappointed in how the summer ended. Long story short, Fawkes and Phoenix had both come down with a fever late the week before, and Tristen figured out on Sunday that they had hand, foot, and mouth disease. I’d heard of it, but didn’t know what it was. It sounds worse than …

The Week Griffin Turned Three (Months)

Even though people like to pretend it’s Monday, the calendar week starts on Sunday, so let us start there as well. Our friends Leslie and Blake had their baby, Beau, but we hadn’t had a chance to go by and see them. Tristen had talked about going at some point without all the babies, but she never got around to working that out. I texted Blake to see about coming by. He mentioned that a few other people were going to be there, but to come on by. So we loaded up Nikki and off we went. We were going to pick up some BBQ on the way, but the Smithfield’s by their house was still recovering from a fire. …
