I started the day with an announcement from Amanda that the bathroom light bulb was out, and she couldn’t get it. It took a few minutes for me to figure out how to get the cover off the light.

After that I had a meeting with a client. It wasn’t the most fun. I’m not going to get into details, but I will say that lack of communication played a part, and we h ave records of our correspondences. I guess a clean break was probably best. What was irritating though was that they were going to look for a company that did not just web, but print and other things as well, so all the fuss was really a little moot.

The Christmas tree debate was ended when I went ahead and picked up a Christmas tree on the way home.

There was a lot of buzz about Duke game from yesterday. We’ve been able to match up small, and the biggest weakness was supposed to be against large teams. Wisconsin was a large team and Duke handled them nicely.

Amanda and I put up and decorated the tree after she got home and before anybody from small group got here.

Elliot and Melissa didn’t make it tonight, and Elliot has had a really rough time. You could hear it in his voice. He got a text message from his sister letting him know that she’s in jail and on top of that the mother of a friend f his was recently shot to death during a break-in of her home in Hillsboro. (The two incidents are not at all related.)

Small group really good though. We had pizza, salad and lemonade. One of the discussion questions for tonight dealt with family Christmas traditions. We enjoyed the topic so much that that was all we ended up talking about.

After everyone left I watched Carolina play Ohio State.
