Another Monday and another work week begins.
The server went down for a little while today, which made things rather stressful for me. I had lots of people calling to tell me they were having problems with their e-mail, but fortunately nobody seemed overly angry. Since we switched the the newer server months and months ago, this is the first time we’ve ever had a problem.
The other inconvenience is that it put me further behind. We run almost entirely off of things on our server, but at least it gave me plenty of time to call people back about various things. All that being said, we still have a 99% up-time. The percentage is probably higher than that, actually.
My brother, Adam Dotsey, called today to tell me that he and his girlfriend, Renee Sikes, are planning on going to Rougemont before leaving for Kentucky. We had planned on them riding with us there, which I thought would be fun. Actually, we had planned on renting a van and having the entire family go together, but that fell apart as it became apparent that different people were going to be leaving Kentucky at different times.
Other than that, Amanda mostly watched TV with Bruce, our beloved chihuahua, while I played some Rome: Total War. I was trying out the game as the Britons this time, which I was enjoying. I eventually went downstairs and laid on the couch. Amanda curled up on me and I dozed off and on while she watched Friends.
