Amanda spent a bit of the evening on the phone, after which she joined me in watching Duke get a nice win at Miami, 81-71. Nolan Smith got poked in the eye and missed a good bit of time, but he still ended up with 18 points. Seth Curry continued playing well like he did against Carolina, scoring 16. I think it was to be considered an all-round solid game by Duke.
Amanda and I got in from our night with Anna and Barry around 1:30 last night (this morning, whatever). We had been told that the service at church was going to be a call for volunteers, and given that we both volunteer already in different capacities, we wanted to sleep in and we prefer not to go to the evening services, we decided to play hooky from church today.
Karen treated us and Michael to a late lunch at Cracker Barrel.
We think Milly might be teething a bit, getting her two-year molars is Amanda’s guess, which seems right to me since I think she’s already got all her other teeth. She was drooly and snotty this evening, and not in the best of moods.
