Crap crap crap crap crap. I just wrote out an entire post and hit publish, but then remembered that the internet connection is bogged down and might time out, so I hit escape to stop the page, but it was too late for me to copy everything because everything I typed had already disappeared, but it hadn’t actually published yet. That friggin’ sucks. Now I’m not going to take my time typing like I did before. So here goes.
My buddy Jason Revill is writing movie reviews for a film festival’s website. No word yet on whether or not he’ll be getting paid, but since much of his time is take up sitting around and watching DVDs from Netflix, I guess that’s not a huge deal.
Kristen Barriner told me in e-mail today that she and Rob Peterson were at the 8:30 service yesterday at Port City Community Church, and that they’ll probably start going to that one more.
We’re getting tired of Bruce peeing on the corners of the couch. He goes through good an bad spells, so we’re going to make a more concerted effort to make sure he pees outside by giving him a treat every time he does. Outside.
I caught up on a number of leads from work today, but still have a couple big ones to do. Today wasn’t hectic, but I did end up working an hour late because I took a call right at 5:00 and another half an hour after that. The later one I took because I thought I recognized the number, and the guy is on the west coast. I was right, and it was him. In the course of our conversation it came out that a certain sensitive judge on America’s most popular talent show is about as crazy and messed up as rumors say she is. I also got word today that one of the clients we have that I really like won’t be in chrage of the website we do for a certain organization anymore. Tha sucks, because I always have a good time talking to the guy. He did tell me to look him up next time I go to Florida.
Amanda and I went for a walk around the neighborhood with Bruce. There were two dogs that were loose and one of them, a pretty big but playful one who looked like he had some boxer in him, followed us home. The dingo stuck around for a little while, but he didn’t eat my baby.
I talked to my brother-in-law, Michael Mercer, who will be moving in here in a couple of days, about the fantasy football league he started and I joined on ESPN.com. We made a trade that may or may not be a good one for me.
After doing the elliptical trainer right after she got home and going for a walk with me and Bruce, Amanda mostly just watched tv with Renee Sikes for the rest of the night. I joined them for How I Met Your Mother, but other than that I was playing Rome: Total War. I beat it with the Greek empire and moved on to the expansion pack; Rome: Total War Barbarian Invasion.
Well that wasn’t so bad, typing all that back out again. Of course, it’s abbreviated and I’m sure I left off a couple things, although I did add a few that I remembered since I typed the first time.
