So we’re doing small group tomorrow night. In other church news, Mike Paschal called me up and asked if I’d be willing to take some pictures at one of the services this weekend. For Easter, Port City Community Church is having five services: the usual Sunday ones plus two Saturday services, which I’m all for. Amanda and I are planning on going to the one at 5:00 on Saturday.

Not too much else going on. I landed a new client and worked out some specifics on a fairly major undertaking for another one.

Amanda picked up some Chick-Fil-A for dinner. We’ve been a bit tight lately, but she had a coupon, plus a bunch of money magically appeared in our checking account today. I’m thinking it might be part of our tax return, but the website isn’t showing what’s in there yet, just that it’s under the available funds. Obviously I’m pretending it’s not there until I know for certain what it is.

Amanda and I caught up on Smallville and Reaper before watching American Idol. On Smallville, Pete Ross returned. Pete was Clark’s best friend for the first few season but then he disappeared. I can’t remember if they’d said where he had gone or not. Reaper was entertaining. That’s another show that I don’t usually look forward to watching, but I really enjoy it when I do.

On American Idol they had decided to do Beatles songs again. I think a lot of the song choices were better tonight, although Amanda and I were not in synch with the judges at all. We generally approved of some of the performances they didn’t, and vice versa.

After Amanda went to bed I watched a little NIT basketball. Maryland won their game and Arizona State is beating Alabama State pretty handily right now with just a few seconds left to go. I pull for them- they’ve got Herb Sendek, formerly of NC State, and Eric Boateng, a Duke transfer.
