This week little Pistachio is about the size of the palm of a hand and weighs about five ounces.  It’s getting baby fat, though it’s still pretty skinny and the skin is still mostly translucent.  Pistachio is also practicing sucking and swallowing in preparation for breathing and feeding.  The heart beat is also regulated by the brain by now.
