Mom just called.  I kind of knew before I picked up the phone what she was going to say.  No, that’s not fair to say- as I’ve mentioned before, I’ve come to expect it, and the fact that she called now, when things have been on the brink for my grandfather, I just sort of guessed.

She choked out the words, “Pap just died.”  My dad had just called her, and he had been able to be there with him.  I don’t really know what to say, so I’m just going to post some pictures of my grandfather, Andrew Dotsey.
