I got a text early this morning from Nick and then this message later today via the Facebook group “I’m Praying for Melissa Warkentien”.

Missy passed away this morning around 7:00am in her sleep. Of course we are sorrowful and will miss her very much. We also feel at peace, and are joyful that she does not have to suffer any longer. Thank you all so much for your many prayers and encouragement. We will give more details later.

Nick was fortunate enough to be able to leave a few days ago to join his family.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Warkentien family.
