Michael and Jenn came over to watch Milly tonight so Amanda and I could go to a leaders meeting at Port City Community Church.  They had a cookout with hot dogs, lots of chips and desserts.  They then had an improv show that was put on for us, and that was a lot of fun.  Sure, some of it was a little cheesy, but a good portion of it was legitimately funny.  It followed a Whose Line is it Anyway? format and ended with a spotlight on Jeff Winchester, who is currently head of people care and will be the pastor at the new Leland campus of the church.

For the bit about Jeff, the people doing the improv interviewed him about a typical day in his life then did a little skit about it.  I’d have to say the best part was when the lady in the group (I forget her name, but I’ve seen her around church a lot) did an impression of Lisa Stikeleather, one of the people on the people care team.  It was so spot on!  I think everyone in the room knew who was being impersonated as soon as she opened her mouth.

Milly was sick today, which meant she was clingy and irate.  To make the day even more fun, I don’t know if she slept at all.  I did finally put her down for a nap around noon, but I heard her moving around and making noise in her room and she was out and downstairs again within about an hour.

She wasn’t all bad though.  Milly had some sweet and fun times as well.  Michael and Jenn came to watch her tonight, and they said that other than right before she went to bed she was good for them, playing outside and such.
