I finally watched the series finale of Smallville last night, probably about a year after it aired.  I had just never gotten around to it.  It was nice to see Michael Rosenbaum back as Lex.  I always thought he was one of the best characters, and the show went downhill after he left.  Though, to be fair, it was going downhill before he left, but the trajectory became steeper.  The biggest thing that didn’t make sense to me was that Lois and Clark were getting married, the ceremony was interrupted as they were about to put on the rings, and then the end of the show is seven years later and they were just about to get married again.  I mean, if they were that close to completing the ceremony, why wouldn’t they have just finished it up a couple days later, after Clark got used to flying, wearing tights and pushing a flaming planet back out into space?  Okay, there were lots of other issues too, but that’s a quick and easy one to pick.

I felt pretty good today.  I’m just about done with one site that I worked on for Scott, started and am nearly done with another one today, should be starting on one for Nextwave early next week, and got the green light to begin an advanced social networking campaign.  Lots of exciting stuff going on!  I didn’t have anyone here to talk to about it this morning, so I called Scott, my former boss, and chatted with him about it for a little bit.  We talked shop for a while.

Amanda had her hands full today with the girls.

Milly was helping Amanda fix some spaghetti this evening and wouldn’t listen to Amanda’s warnings about the heat and ended up burning her hand.  I think it was just the steam that got her, because there were no marks and she didn’t cry about it for long.

Cyra came to watch Milly this evening while Amanda and I went to a leaders’ meeting at church.  They had large cookies and bottled Coke.  I don’t usually drink soda, but I couldn’t really pass up a free bottled Coke.

Amanda and I played a couple games of Ticket to Ride and she beat me both times.  On the second one I took a gamble and she ended the game one turn too soon.  I had all I needed to connect everything up, but instead I only finished a five point track and ended up with negative points.  I was distraught.
