You may have noticed that I switched themes once again, and if you know anything about WordPress you’ll see that I have switched to the default theme.  Why, when it’s pretty boring, did I do this?  Well, I really liked the last theme, but I felt the need to include an image with every single post because it messed up the homepage if you didn’t include one.  And so I decided to go with this one.  Maybe I’ll spruce it up some at some point, maybe I won’t.  I do like that you can upload your own images and have them randomly display when you load a page, so if I keep this theme and I keep adding to it, you’ll never know what picture you’ll see.

Michael came by today and did some website work, which really helped out a lot.  Yesterday I was frazzled at all the work I was staring at, but with his help I was able to get several major things done.  Now I’ve got two and a half big ones that I want to get done by the end of the week.

When he finished working with me, Michael took me to pick up the Escape.  They said they hooked it up to computers and drove it and couldn’t find any issues.  I’m going to see if Dave can take a look at it.

Milly was really good for me today.  She watched several episodes of Franny’s Feet, and the only time she would disturb me from my work was when the theme song came on.  She’d run to get me and tell me we had to dance, which was just holding hands and walking quickly in a circle.  At the end I’d spin her then we’d both take a bow.

There was one time when I was on the phone with a client and she came in with a snack for Michael.  I held my finger to my lips and she very quietly gave the snack to Michael then slowly closed the door as she backed out of the room so she wouldn’t make any noise.  I was really impressed with that.

Amanda and I went to small group.  It was the Hausers’ turn to lead in our study on Hell.

When we got back Amanda suggested I check out The New Normal, a new show on NBC.  Amanda watched the pilot last night and was going to watch the second episode.  From the commercials I’ve seen I thought it was a Modern Family ripoff, which it ended up not being.  It was better than I expected.  My only criticisms are that it seems to be a little over the top with its commentary on inclusiveness and the Nana, while having some good lines, is a little too bigoted at times.

I read tonight that Jim Calhoun, coach of the UConn Huskies men’s basketball team, is retiring.  It’s about time.  He’s had a number of health issues over the past few years.  Plus I don’t like UConn, and I won’t forgive them for beating Duke in 1999 and 2004.  And on a lesser scale, I don’t like that they won the NCAA championship over Butler in 2011 in perhaps the worst, most boring championship game I think I’ll ever see.
