I fell asleep on the couch last night, which isn’t a terribly uncommon thing, but I slept through most of the night, which is less common.  I woke up when Harvey came downstairs and wanted to go outside.  I decided to go ahead and get up to start my day, so I caught up on documenting my expenses.  Exciting, no?

Milly was pretty good for me today.  I had a lot to do though, and I won’t have much of a chance to work from tomorrow afternoon until Monday.

Amanda took Milly to dance class then to the mall to help her grandparents do some Christmas shopping.  She talked to me about coming out to pick Milly up, but I told her that would take an hour or so out of my day.  I told her to let me know if Milly, who generally doesn’t like clothes shopping (yet), got out of hand to give me a call and I’d come get her.

Milly apparently had a fine time.  Anna and Hannah were there too and Milly got to ride on the train with GP and rode some car.  Or something.  Amanda heard that Kirsten was already home for Thanksgiving, so, as a bit of a surprise, she took Milly over there to see Kookie, whom, I was later told by Milly, was back from college.  I hope she realizes that’s temporary.  Anyway, she told me about how they played doctor and had fun.  She was really happy to see her.

That extra working time helped me out a bit, though I’ve still got plenty to do.  Chiefly, I’ve got a couple newsletters to set up and I want to get a video capture of a website that will be going live over the weekend.  I need to go ahead and get that because I’ve currently got the new version on a development site while the old one is live, but once the old one is replaced, I won’t be able to get it again.  Then again, it might still exist for a while as a demo site…

Either way, I’m going to have a bit of a busy day tomorrow.

I did take some time off this evening. Milly had gone upstairs to get Candy Land and wanted me to play it with her and Amanda.  I couldn’t say no.  Milly won the first game by a large margin, having started off with one of the candy cards that put her way up on the board.  I was pretty far ahead, but then I got a card that put me back and Amanda finished before I did.

The second game was me, Milly then Amanda.  After that Milly wanted to talk for the pieces.  One told the other, along with all the characters drawn on the game board, that the sky was falling.  They all had to get somewhere safe.
