Milly watched Labyrinth for the first time tonight.  She got tired towards the end, but unlike her old man, she made it all the way through.  I only dozed off a little though.  When it was done and I asked what her favorite part was, she said it was when she (Sarah, played by Jennifer Connelly) got her little brother back.  Milly really wants a little brother, so I suppose she felt some empathy there.  Never mind that it was Sarah being a lazy, selfish and spoiled brat that got him into trouble in the first place.

I’m sure the following will be in my head the next few days though:

You remind me of the babe.
What babe?
The babe with the power.
What power?
The power of voodoo.
Who do?
You do,
Do what?
You remind me of the babe.

I do love that song.

Oh, in case anyone doesn’t know the meaning of the blog post title, it’s what Sarah told the Goblin King (David Bowie) to defeat him.  That’s all.

Milly and I recorded her playing with her Barbies and Shopkins.  In the first part she gave sort of a tour of the Dreamhouse, but the second was a little adventure mostly focusing on the Shopkins.  I edited the first for her, but I think I’ll add some music and a fade to black before I put it on YouTube and share it around.

The day wasn’t terribly eventful otherwise.  Tristen came over after she went to her mom’s for a bit to watch the movie.  I’ve thought about showing Labyrinth to Milly before, but she’s the one who brought it up and mentioned it to her.  She got here right as Milly was finishing the spaghetti dinner I made her.
