Outside of being babysat, Milly has only ever gone someplace without me or Amanda with her a few times, and up until today, those were with her grandparents. Today, Anna and Kirsten picked Milly up and met Hannah out at Lewis Farms to pick strawberries and have ice cream. Anna said Milly had some chocolate ice cream and loved it.
My day wasn’t too terribly hard. Milly played with blocks, colored with crayons and watched a couple of movies. She had gone through the chest with the movies in it, but it also contains some Playstation 3 games so one point she brought me Little Big Planet and asked to watch it. Can’t blame her on that- the cover looks like a movie she’d want to watch.
Amanda was BBQ’ed out when she got home and decided to make some homemade pizza. She got a thin crust this time and saw that the crust was supposed to be heated before you actually bake the pizza, so it turned out better this time. Not that it was bad the last time, but it could have been better. (You know, like it was tonight.)
There’s not too much going on tonight, so I’m trying to decide if I want to catch up on The Borgias or Smallville, watch the latest episode of Game of Thrones or work on one of a few website projects I’ve got going on. I really should do the last because it would theoretically allow me more time to do the others in the future, but I’ve worked quite a bit on those and I really want to watch Game of Thrones. I’m pretty sure that’s what I’ll do. I’m kind of tired, so I might call it a night after that.
Oh, congrats to Gregory and Allison Mason, who had their second daughter, Brynn, early this morning! And congrats to Callie for becoming a big sister.
