Busy work day. In fact, I’m sitting here watching Smallville with Amanda and I’ve still got work to do.
We had Andy’s for lunch- the semi-usual plain Philly cheese steak for me, the usual chicken Philly for Amanda, along with an order of fries. We’ve cut out the chili and the cheese we usually have with the fries a while back because (even though I’d only go for the cheese) it would usually have a pretty adverse affect on me for the rest of the day.
I took the car to the dealership today and was there for about two hours. Apparently to change out the radio unit they had to practically take the car apart. I activated the XM while going through the Chick-Fil-A drive-thru getting a Caesar wrap (with Caesar dressing and a sweet tea) for Amanda. It works now! We’ll just have to see if it holds up for more than a few days this time.
Amanda had been meeting with the lady who likes her jewelry. I think her name’s Lisa. Anyway, she said she liked Amanda’s stuff better than anything she’s seen in Wilmington. She asked Amanda if she’d ever thought about opening a shop and said she knew the person who owned the shopping center they were meeting in. That shopping center happens to have been Lumina Station, which is a very swanky place, and the lady said she’d even consider financing it. I don’t know how much of it was passing fancy, but who knows, maybe that could be something big!
