With all the elections today, I’d have to say the biggest piece of news I read all day was that Britney Spears filed for divorce from Kevin Federline. Aww, they were such a great couple; they just made sense together! So the douche bag left the girlfriend who gave him his first kid, had two kids with Britney Spears (all the while giving her ample opportunity to embarrass herself) and now it’s over. I really thought those kids would make it.

It looks like the Democrats are going to be in control of the House of Representatives. I’m not really sure how I feel about that. Honestly, I don’t think I’d be happy hearing that the Republicans retained control either. I’m just so sick of partisan politics. I think to be a Republican you have to be too conservative and to be a Democrat you have to be too liberal. Nobody is allowing room for moderation and it just kills me.
I didn’t vote today, by the way. Amanda and I didn’t register here in time.

Today seems to have been Viking day on the History Channel. I had that on in the background while working today.

Amanda finally got around to watching last week’s Friday Night Lights right before this week’s Friday Night Lights came on. I really enjoy that show.

I also cut Michael’s hair tonight.  I used the largest setting of the guards I have for the clippers I used to use on myself. I think he was a little nervous at first, but you really can’t mess up a buzz.  Unless of course you’re asking someone to trim up the back without a guard and they go halfway up your head, so you decide to even it out you’ll wear a mohawk for a weekend.
That reminds me, Boston Legal comes on ABC, not NBC like I previously stated. It didn’t come on tonight though, as it was preempted by election coverage. I did watch The Daily Show – The Colbert Report live election show though. The studio audience was overly jubilant about the Democrats taking over. That was troubling to me because, like I said, I think there needs to be moderation.
