Threw everything in the crock pot first thing today for the beef stew.  The heat kept moving the lid so that sometimes some paste would bubble up and out of it.  I think the counter may even be slightly stained.  Just a little I mean.  Hardly noticeable unless you look for it.  It ended up being really good, regardless.

Small group was tonight.  Elliot Clark and Melissa Nicholson didn’t make it- Elliot was sprung with some stuff from work, but we had a really good night I think.  We’d already decided to split the group up into men’s and women’s groups, and the study guide suggested it too, so I guess we were just ahead of the curve.  We had some really good, open discussions.  Nights like that are what it’s all about.

Really that’s about it for the day.  Amanda went to bed, I played some Halo 3 for a bit.  I actually played pretty well for a while.  It was me, Michael and a guy we’d played some Gears of War with a while back.  We won most of our games until the last couple.
