We had small group at our house tonight.  Justin Hauenstein, Elliot Clark and Melissa Nicholson weren’t able to make it, but Polly and Dave Clawson, our small group coaches, came to check things out.  This was the first time they’d had a chance to meet Lisa Hauenstein and the first time they’d really gotten to spend any time with Mike (Lars) and Kaitlyn Boscaljon.

When it came time for prayer requests, Kaitlyn mentioned that she had heard a rumor and wanted to know if it was true.  Polly mentioned that she had heard it too.

Amanda fixed chicken pot pie for dinner and we talked about sex.  I mean, that’s what a large part of the message was about this past week, so that’s what the discussion was mainly centered around.  I didn’t mind talking about it, although I think I rambled on a bit at times.  I don’t know if Dave meant to or not, but he interjected here and there and, to my mind, bailed me out from my filibustering.

We missed the presidential debate tonight.  Guess we should have watched it since neither Amanda and I have totally decided who to vote for just yet.  It came on while everyone was here though, so that’s my excuse.  We did watch this past week’s Saturday Night Live, which was pretty good.  It featured Anne Hathaway and The Killers.

Work was pretty busy again today.  Nothing much to report- just busy.

I played Halo 3 a bit with Michael and MLAdvisor.  I forget his real name, but we used to play a bunch with him and his brother, X23.
