Amanda usually says goodbye to Milly in the mornings.  Our daughter usually wakes up briefly anyway, so Amanda just goes in, gives her a kiss, covers her back up and turns on the mobile.  Amanda called me in this morning because Milly had rolled onto her stomach and that’s how Amanda found her this morning, having rolled herself over.  The only time she’s rolled from her back to her stomach before was with us enticing her to do so.

I got some of what I set as my goals for work today accomplished, but not all of it.  On the plus side, I think this month will be better than last month.

Amanda and I were going to go to the Cape Fear Fair this evening with Billy and Cyra.  We had Milly all dressed up and ready to go- fresh diaper, jacket, socks.  Amanda even figured out the best way to use her moby wrap to carry Milly around.  We were all set, then Amanda asked if I had the tickets.  The tickets had been on the trunk by the front door, which is now behind the couch.  The tickets were no longer there, and after a good deal of searching we came to the conclusion that Amanda had thrown them away when she was cleaning this weekend, and the trash had come today.

On the subject of trash, I feel I should note that I forgot to take out the trash last night, but the truck comes later than it used to and Amanda took the trash out on her way to work.  I wasn’t sure if she was capable of carting the dumpster to the road, but apparently she is.  That’s useful to know.

Also on the subject of trash, Amanda cleaned out the fridge after she got home today.  It was quite an undertaking.  Even though she went to Wal-Mart and picked up a bunch of groceries today, our fridge looks empty.

Anyway, Billy and Cyra still came over and ate some white chili for dinner with us.  After that we played Apples to Apples, which Amanda won handily and when they took off we watched last week’s Flash Forward.
