My cousin David Cherryholmes called me today and told me that he and his wife, Oxana,  are pregnant.  I know he’s always wanted to have kids, but he’d been waiting to get things lined up.  Apparently it didn’t take them any time to get it done.

Milly was up at 5:00 this morning and Amanda and I didn’t get back to sleep for a bit.  I didn’t get up until 8:30, so Milly and I didn’t have our usual Monday morning walk.  She was good though, throughout the rest of the day.

At church we’re doing a thing on being good stewards.  Part of the homework for that was to catalog a month of expenses, so I did that today by pulling our checking account and credit card info into a spreadsheet.  Amanda and I were hoping to find that we had more money than we realized, but instead we found out that we eat out way too much.

Amanda and I spent the night watching How I Met Your Mother and a new show, The Event.  We’re pretty intrigued by that one.  Ahh, the new fall TV premieres….

I didn’t mention this before because I didn’t want to put it out there before, but Adam, my brother, got laid off on Thursday.  He’s got some things he wants to do with his insurance while he’s got the chance, and one of those things is having his wisdom teeth removed, which he’ll be having done Wednesday.  We’ll be watching over him here while he recovers.
