I slept in until 9 this morning, and I was the first person up. I was going to mow, but I thought I’d go to the store first to pick up some eggs.

By the time I got back it was overcast and looked like it was going to rain any minute, so I didn’t end up mowing. It actually got to looking decently nice out after a while, but all I heard about the weather today was that it was supposed to get nasty.

The weather did get bad, but not here in Wilmington. Raleigh and the surrounding areas got hit pretty bad with tornadoes.

Milly was pretty fussy most of the day.  I assume she’s still not caught up on her sleep from yesterday.

Amanda and I played a game that her brother, Michael, let us borrow.  It’s called Stone Age and it’s probably not worth bothering to try to explain.  It’s another one of those nerdy strategy games that we like to play.  Anyway, we really enjoyed it and played three games of it today.  There were a couple of rules in the first game that we didn’t follow until part-way through the game, but I don’t think it would have made a huge difference in the outcome.  And yes, I’d say that if Amanda had won that one, too.  Amanda won the next one and I won the last one.
