Amanda got her revenge for moderately beating her at Carcassonne a few days ago by moderately beating me tonight.  I say moderate when both games were won by 20 (in this case) or more (in the last game’s case), but given how high scoring they were, 20 points isn’t really all that much.  Of note in this game is that between the two of us we actually got all the resources but one barrel.  We tied on two of them and I had one more of one.

Milly had an up and down day today.  She started out very happy.  We recently moved some things around in our bedroom  and now Milly can reach our alarm clock.  She went over to play with it and figured out how to turn it on and started dancing.  She did this both times I got her up today.

Maybe it’s because her sleep schedule was so off yesterday, but Milly started getting cranky around 9:30 this morning, so I put her to bed.  She was up around noon though.  Amanda put her back down around 4:30 and got her up at 5:30 because we were having dinner in lieu of small group tonight over at the Andrews(es?)’ house.  Milly got really fussy there starting around a quarter past seven, though she eventually settled down shortly before we left.

Stephanie was back from Texas, so it was good to see her.  Dinner was good and Amanda made a brownie pizza, which is a brownie baked on a pizza pan with a cream cheese topping, a drizzling of chocolate and then some fruit to top it off.  Blueberries and strawberries in this case.

Noah was all about some Milly, but she went from following him to being indifferent.  He accidentally hit her in the head at one point and she started wailing, but as soon as I picked her up and carried her out of the room she stopped.  Jamie made Noah stay on his bed for a couple minutes and he got upset, so when we walked back into the living room Milly looked at me and said, “Noah sad.”  It was just funny that she went from crying so hard to matter of factly stating the emotional condition of another kid.

Next week we’re having everyone over here.  David and I had talked about some games and he was interested in seeing the multiplayer Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, so we’ll probably play games while the ladies talk.  He lent me two games, though for a while I’ve been concentrating on just one video game at a time (when I play them), so it might be a bit before I get to them.  I don’t think that’s a big deal though, since his Xbox is out of commission.

We were actually a few minutes late arriving at their house because I had a meeting that ran a little over.  I think it went well though.
