I was pretty tired this morning and didn’t even know Amanda had gone to get Milly until I heard Milly in our room.  Milly tried to wake me up by poking me, tickling me I suppose, but I didn’t move until Amanda got her to give me a kiss.  We all spent a few minutes lazing around in bed until Amanda went to make some waffles.

Michael came over this afternoon to learn how to use WordPress.  He asked good questions and I think he picked it up pretty well, but he’ll need to play with it a bit to really learn it.

Before he came over Amanda went to a 31 party, one of those things where girls get together and buy purses or clothes or jewelry or whatnot.  Milly and I were watching Duke’s football team get run over by Miami.  It wasn’t at all pretty.

Other than that I spent a lot of my day cleaning up the office.  I’ve been meaning to do it for a while and I finally just decided to do it today after Amanda said she was thinking of steam cleaning the carpets.  Hopefully I can keep it up.  The problem is that I just let junk pile up for a while.  Most of what I did was just shredding old bills and tossing out old junk mail.  I also slid the table/desk forward a few inches, which really opened up the area behind it a bit.  It lets me have a bit more mobility that there.

Later on I felt like vegging out and playing Mass Effect 2.  I haven’t done that in a while and I was pretty sure that I was getting close to the end of the game.  Milly wanted me to sit on the couch with her for a bit, so I did that before we put her to bed.  I played until I got to a good saving point once I came back down, but I was indeed close to the end of the game.  There were lots of decisions to make and the action came pretty fast, so it took me a bit to save it so I could go hang out with Amanda.  Of course, after she went to bed I beat the game in about ten minutes.  All of my crew survived through the end, which is good.  I liked most of the characters.
