Since she didn’t do it yesterday, Amanda made waffles this morning.  They were, as usual, very good.  Milly and I spent some time watching cartoon, mainly Lilo & Stitch, while Amanda showered then left to go Christmas shopping.  I was very tired and almost took a nap when Milly did (before, actually, as I was lazing on the couch).  I did some Nextwave work instead.

I left to go Christmas shopping myself shortly after Amanda got back.  I didn’t go with her because she was getting things for me and she didn’t go with me because I was getting things for her.  I had a few things in mind but had a hard time finding then deciding on them, so I went to several different places and was gone for about three hours.  We’re now done with the exception of getting a birthday and a Christmas present for Jackson.

I talked to Jason for a bit on my way out to shop, by the way.  Nothing big, just catching up with him.

I was pretty beat when I got back.  I hid Amanda’s presents away then we had a lazy evening in the living room.  Amanda watched bad SyFy movies, Milly watched alphabet videos on YouTube and I… what did I do?  I don’t even remember.  I half-dozed for a bit while Milly sat with me on the couch.

Milly did pee a couple times and she pooped, all on her own.  She’s really getting the hang of this potty thing, so that’s great.  There was one accident though.  We put her panties on late in the evening and she went in them, even though she told Amanda she had to pee.  She just didn’t make it to the potty in time, and I guess having something covering her up made it harder for her to hold it, or else she thought it would be like a diaper.  Anyway, she’s doing great.

After Milly went to bed Amanda and I watched Grimm.  I think it’s the first time I’ve watched the show without dozing off during it.  That’s not an indictment on the show, just my personal state when we have happened to watch it.
