I got up this morning and don’t know how long it was before I spoke a word.  Normally it’s not long, because Milly tends to be up or get up around the same time as I do, but since she stayed in Richlands last night, that wasn’t the case today.

Instead I went downstairs and watched last night’s episode of Game of Thrones, which I thought was a pretty good one.  They’re diverging from the book in several story arcs, so it’ll be interesting to see if they get back to them.  There are a few cases where it’ll change a character drastically if they don’t.

Milly got back around 1:30.  Michael and Jenn, who stayed in Richlands last night as well, brought her home.  Karen was originally going to, but it made much more sense for them to bring her since they were, you know, coming from Richlands to Wilmington.  It was the first time Milly rode in his car (she had the carseat Karen keeps in her van) and she drew all over her legs with a highlighter on the way home.

She had some yogurt and watched a Ruby Gloom then went down for a nap in our bed.  I don’t mind her doing that too much because I like the idea of her getting used to sleeping in a regular bed.  I mean, she’s got a bed now, but it’s a converted crib and is pretty close to the ground.  Amanda and I have discussed getting her a regular bed.

There were a few times today when Milly was asked a question and before answer she’d say, “Let me think about it” or something to that effect.

I had a number of leads that I got in today, so future business is looking pretty bright.  I also had someone who was a little frustrated with some search engine work I’ve done, but we talked and I think he gained a better understanding of the process from it.  It probably didn’t hurt that his sales were roughly 10% higher in the month and a half that I’ve been doing work on the site compared to the month and a half right before that, and that the conversions are higher too.

The rest of the night was pretty uneventful.  Amanda and I watched a few Thursday night shows and she wanted to watch tonight’s season finale of How I Met Your Mother, but for some reason it didn’t record on the DVR and it didn’t load early enough for her to watch it on the computer.

I’ve been playing Ticket to Ride for achievements since yesterday and I got hung up on one pretty bad.  The goal is to win a game while covering all the black tracks.  I actually would have had it last night, but there’s one track that is black on one side and orange on the other, and I used wilds on it, not realizing I was putting them on the orange part.  If I hadn’t made that mistake last night I’d have saved myself a lot of frustration.  Same could be said if I didn’t get myself worked up about a stupid achievement on a stupid phone too, I suppose.
