So titled because not much else really happened today.
Milly and I worked on her homework this morning over breakfast then I took her to school. The normal rule we’re going by is to do the homework when she gets home (or at least that’s what I’m doing with her on Mondays), but we left for the lake trip right after school on Friday, so we didn’t get a chance to do that.
Anyway, so I took her to school where they have implemented the car line. I had gone around the back of the school to drop her off, but that left me trying to break into the line that was forming out on the main road. I ended up getting in right in front of Nick and Eli, who later told me that Allison and Callie were right behind him. I didn’t like the car line. I mean, I’m sure it’s efficient and all, but they have teachers lined up to get the kids out of the cars and escort them to the big building so you don’t really get much of a chance to hug and kiss your kid. Nick agreed when I called to talk to him about it.
I was planning to start working out today, but the way I still felt from all the exertion on Saturday had me deciding to put it off one more school day. I did do plenty of work though.
I picked Milly up and we worked on her homework. She hadn’t eaten all of her lunch, despite assuring me that she liked her quesadilla and bunny crackers. She finished them later.
I worked some more, though I didn’t get much done on the big project I’m starting.
