We had a traditional morning of church, Atlanta Bread and Barnes & Noble. We haven’t done that in a while. We also went by Brilliant Sky for just a bit.
So apparently Milly has decided to be Blossom from the Powerpuff Girls for Halloween. Just thought I’d toss it in here, since it’s apparently a for real thing now. Jenn’s making the dress. I guess we’re going to just ignore the orange hair.
I took a nap when we got home. Milly went upstairs to rest and watch some Netflix on the iPad in her room. I’m not sure what Amanda did. I got up after a couple hours then we got Milly up and went to Islands for dinner. Milly had asked about doing that yesterday.
When we got home I took Milly for a walk down the street to Maddox’s house, even though Maddox wasn’t there. Gavin had said he’d buy some pizza from Milly’s school fundraiser. I hung out there and talked to him for a little bit, then when we got home we decided to hit up our neighbors, Pete and Alisha. They got something too, even though Milly left pretty early on in the pitch. I stayed and chatted with them for a bit. We might do dinner on Saturday.
Gavin let us borrow Wreck-it Ralph, which I’ve wanted to watch for a while. Amanda put it on for Milly and by the time I got done talking and walked across two halves of yards, Milly and Eli were on the couch watching it. The Warkentiens and the Meyers came over to watch Breaking Bad, but we let the kids stay up an extra 20 or 30 minutes to watch the movie.
I saw what was a possible spoiler synopsis of tonight’s episode of Breaking Bad a few days ago, but it turned out to be a work of speculation. There were definitely some elements in it that were right or had the same tone, but the major points were different. While the episode itself was really good, it one I read would have been insane had it come to pass.
