There was really nothing to talk about that happened today.  I worked, Amanda came home and I went out to get a pizza from a new place; Hoobie’s Pizza.  We found out about them from a flyer, and when I first saw it I thought it said Boobie’s Pizza.  Now that’s a name for a pizza joint.

They had a really good deal. We got an extra large (though it looked more like just a large) cheese pizza for $7.50 and the place is less than a mile away, over in Murrayville Station.  The pizza was decent too, especially for that price.

We watched one of last week’s Nightmares and Dreamscapes.  I thought it was a good one.  It starred Office Space’s Ron Livingston as a documentary filmmaker recording the last hour of his life, where he recounts the way his super-genius brother tried to bring about world peace.  I expected a dark twist of course, being that it is based on one of Stephen King’s short stories, but I thought it was a touching tale as well.

Amanda and I watched The Forty Year Old Virgin on HBO then she went to bed.  She wasn’t feeling great.  She did mention that she’s looking forward to taking a shower upstairs tomorrow, now that everything is set up and the caulk is dry.

And that’s pretty much it.  That was the day.  Exciting, no?

UNC-Wilmington was just mentioned twice on a show on the History Channel about exploring a sunken ship.  That makes up for yesterday when I was watching a show about the Intracoastal Waterway, waiting in vain for them to mention or at least show a clip of the part that goes through Wilmington.
